What is SMAM Kisan Yojana?
The full form of SMAM is Sub Mission On Agriculture Mechanization. The central government has started this scheme for the farmers. So that they do not face any problem in buying modern equipment for farming.
Under this scheme, a provision of subsidy ranging from 50 percent to 80 percent has been made to the farmers on the purchase of equipment.
This makes it possible for the farmer to get a better yield in less time and cost. Overall, this scheme is very beneficial for the farmers who are not financially very capable.

- Bank account passbook
- Driving license/Voter ID card/PAN Card copy

SMAM Kisan Yojana Online Registration Process
Step 1 :- First of all DBT portal of Ministry of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare official portal via this link: https://agrimachinery.nic.in/Index/Index
Step 2 :- On home page, go to the Registration menu option and click on ‘Farmers’ link under it.
This will take you Farmer Online Registration form page, here choose the Aadhar card option and Select your state name from the list.
Enter your Aadhar card number in input box and submit it
Step 3 :- Then you will see another form, here you have to fill all the information asked in this form.
After filling the information, you have to submit the form by clicking on the Register button.
Step 4 :- After this upload your documents and in this way your registration will be done.
After SMAM Scheme registration, you will be able to take advantage of the help given by the government.
