Steps to add signature in PAN card online
To update your signature in Pan card online, follow below easy steps:
- Visit the official NSDL website for PAN card services: https://www.tin-nsdl.com.
- Click on “Online PAN Application” under “Services” on the homepage.
- On the next page, select “Changes or Correction in existing PAN Data/Reprint of PAN Card (No changes in existing PAN Data)”.
- Fill in your personal details such as name, date of birth, PAN card number, etc., and click on “Submit” button.
- On the next page, you need to upload various document like address proof or aadhaar card scanned copy, here select “Signature” under “Application Type” and fill in the required details.
- Upload your scanned signature in the specified format and click on “Submit”.
- You will be directed to a payment gateway where you can pay the requisite fee for signature update.
- Once the payment is complete, you will receive an acknowledgement form with a 15-digit acknowledgment number. Save this for future reference.
- Print the acknowledgement form, paste your photograph, sign it and send it to the NSDL office address mentioned on the form. Make sure to write “Application for PAN change request – ” on the envelope.
- Your updated PAN card with the new signature will be dispatched to your registered address within a few weeks.
