Follow these steps to download your PMSBY Certificate of Insurance.
Step 1: Open the JanSuraksha portal jansuraksha.in.
This is official website, which have all information about your PMSBY insurance, no matter you have bought insurance from any bank or post office.
Step 2: Register youself
If you are using this website very first time, you will need to register yourself before login.
Click on login button, a applicant login window appears, here you will see an option like “Don’t have an account” Register.
Click on Register link, now need to enter your information for account setup. Choose your bank from the list, select scheme PMSBY from list and provide your bank account number and date or birth.
Accept the disclaimer and the terms and conditions then click to continue. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number linked with bank account, verify it.
Now it will be asked you to set a User ID and password. Once this is done, your account is ready.
Step 3: Login in portal
Go back to the login form page and enter your Mobile Number or User ID and fill captcha shown, then click on “Login” button. Complete the OTP verification with your registered mobile number.
Step 4: Select PMSBY
After logging in, select Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) option. This will open the services available for PMSBY.
Step 5: Choose “Regenerate Certificate”
Now go to the Services tab and click on Regenerate COI.

Step 6: Enter your Bank Details and Date of Birth
Select the bank through which you enrolled in PMSBY. Enter the bank account number linked to your PMSBY insurance and your date of birth as per you aadhaar card.
After this choose the year for which you want the PMSBY certificate. Then click Generate COI button shown on the page.
Step 7: Verify your mobile number
After submitting your details, an OTP sent to your mobile number linked to your bank account. Enter the OTP shown on your phone and continue.
Step 8: Download PMSBY Insurance Certificate
After verification, your PMSBY insurance Certificate will be generated. You can download the certificate as a PDF document or print it direclty.
