Eligibility for Delhi Jal Board New Connection
- Applicant must be a resident of Delhi
- House must be in the name of the applicant
- If the applicant lives somewhere on rent, then he will have to give the rent agreement
Steps to Apply Online for New Water Connection in Delhi
1) First visit the Delhi Jal Board official website http://djb.gov.in/DJBPortal/portals/DJBCustomer.portal.
Here you need to click on ‘Apply for new connection’ as shown in below image.
2) After clicking on this, an informational pop-up will be shown, in this all required documents and instructions are mentioned. Read it carefully and click on the OK button.
3) Now, you will be redirected to the Delhi Jal board water connection application form page. Fill in all the required details in this form and upload the needed documents.
4) After submitting all above mentioned details, applicant has to click on Preview button.
5) Applicant can also Edit New Connection details as displayed in Preview form or can Submit the request if all entered details are correct.
Take out the print out of application form for further reference.
Note: If you filled wrong information in application form, then your new water connection application gets rejected.

To apply, a application form is given to you, have to fill it carefully and submit it.
Via applying offline mode a application fee will be charge by the Delhi Jal Board.
