Haryana Rs 5000 Grant Scheme 2021: Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has recently announced a new scheme for shopkeepers, workers, and auto-rickshaw drivers.
The main aim of this scheme to give financial help to all the beneficiaries. Haryana state government give an amount of Rs. 5000 as one time grant in their bank account directly.
During the corona pandemic, many small shopkeepers, construction workers, drivers, and other unrecognized labourer faces financial crises. This scheme provides direct benefits for them.
Apart from Rs. 5000 grant, the government has also announced an aid of Rs 2 Lakh for those who lost their family member due to corona disease. However, this only applies to BPL families and the age must be in between 18 to 50 years.
Announcement Made Under Haryana Grant Scheme
- Announced a one-time grant of Rs 5000 each for small shopkeepers, auto-rickshaw drivers, construction workers, and laborers working in the unorganized sector.
- Those BPL families who have lost a family member in the age group of 18-50 due to COVID-19 will be given an ex-gratia amount of Rs.2 lakh each.
- Motor vehicle tax will not be levied on non-goods transport vehicles for the first quarter of 2021-22
- The state government announced to give relief to the traders, it has been decided to waive off the entire property tax for the first quarter of the year 2021-22.
- No royalty will be levied on electricity bills till June 30, 2021
- These announcements include a financial package of more than Rs 1,100 crore.
