Pension Eligibility

To qualify for the Haryana Old Age Pension, a person must meet all four of the following conditions:

  • Age: 60 years or older
  • Domicile: Must be a domicile and permanent resident of Haryana State
  • Income: Combined annual income from all sources of the applicant and their spouse must not exceed ₹3,00,000
  • Both men and women are equally eligible.

Step 1: For this, first of all visit the socialjusticehry.gov.in official website.

Step 2: Now click on Services/Schemes menu option and go on Forms section. Download the Old Age Samman Allowance application form PDF from here.

Step 3: Now after taking a printout of this Old Age Samman Allowance form, after filling all the information given in this form, get the stamp and signatures of the ward member/sarpanch or gazetted officer of your block.

Step 5: Visit a CSC or Atal Seva Kendra. Take the filled form along with photocopies of all required documents to your nearest CSC centre or Atal Seva Kendra. The operator will submit your application online through the PPP portal.

For this you must have Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family Id) and mobile number registered in it.

Step 6: After submission, take a receipt or acknowledgement number. This is needed to track your application later.

Your application is forwarded to the Social Welfare Department of your nearest block or district for verification. Once approved, the pension starts getting credited directly to your bank account via PFMS (Public Financial Management System).

Note: The old Saral Haryana portal is no longer the primary channel for this pension. Applications now flow through the PPP/Parivar Pehchan Patra system.
