How to Apply Factory Licence in Haryana

In Haryana, if you going to start your own manfacturing firm, then have to do registration of factory licence. In india, Factory registration is regulated by the provisions of the Factories Act, 1948.

Haryana government has official web portal with the name of ‘Haryana Labour – E-governance portal’. In this portal user can apply for new factory licence, renewal application, submission of annual return and also view the inspection report online.

Documents Required for Factory Registration

Documents required to obtain Haryana factory licence are as follows:

  • Copy of Factory building plan approval letter
  • List of Directors/Partners
  • Memorundum of association/Partnership deed
  • A resolution passed by Board of Directors.
  • Copy of sanctioned load from HPVPNL

Haryana Factory Licence Registration Application Process

Let’s start the application process.

1) For new users, first you have to fill new BIP (Basic Information Form) and get your factory name registered in department database.

For this visit this portal : https://investharyana.in.

Here, on home page menu, click on ‘login/register’ option. This will shows a popup of login account section. For generate username and password, click on ‘New Investor Registration’ link option.

2) Fill registration form and complete the registration process.

This will create record in labour department haryana. (Use this username and password to login in hrylabour.gov.in portal)

3) Now open official haryana labour portal via this link: https://hrylabour.gov.in

And click on E-service -> Factories Act menu option.

Or you can directly open the factory term page with the help of this link: https://hrylabour.gov.in/factory/factory/factory_terms

4) On this factory firm page, scroll down the page and checked the acknowledge checkbox and click to submit button.

5) Now search existing factory form page will display.

Here enter your Factory name/factory email/Application in input box and search it.

This will gives your current status of your factory registration in labour department haryana.

6) Now login in labour portal, choose User type as ‘Factory Act’ and input your username and password.

7) After logged in, the user has to fill the Basic Information Performa (BIP).

This performa contains all the basic information of the factory like address, workers, amount of power used, details of occupier / manager, Manufacturing process & declaration etc.

8) To apply for factory licence, click on ‘Licence’ menu tab. This will generate the Form 2.

9) Fill the factory information correctly along with the worker details.

10) Then you have to upload the photocopy of the required documents.

After uploading documents, click to submit button. This will sent an OTP on registered mobile number. Verify it.

11) Application fee will be auto-calculated based on number of workers employed. Pay the fee via online mode.

After this you will recieve the ‘Application for Factory Lincence Submitted’.

Download the application form for further reference.

The Applicant can track his/her application in real time. After the application is scrutinized by different department officers, the applicant will be able to download the license certificate online.

How to renewal factory licence in Haryana

Below renewal factory licence onine process is explained.

  1. Login to the https://hrylabour.gov.in portal with your username and password.
  2. Then, click on the Apply for renewal button. The renewal application form page will be shown on the screen
  3. Need to provide updated information of the factory in application form. Enter the payment details and submit online.
  4. After submission, take a printout of Form No. 2 and send it along with the documents to the “Chief Inspector of Factories, within 15 days from the date of Submission.
