  • Provide address proof, email address, and phone number of the place of business.
  • Proof of start of the industry.

Online Udyam Registration: How to Apply for MSME

Step 1: Visit the official Udyam website https://udyamregistration.gov.in.

Here you found two options on the screen, First for new entrepreneurs who are not registered yet as MSME or those with EM-11 and second for who want to Re-register for it.

Step 2: For the new registration process, enter your Aadhaar card number and Name of the entrepreneur.

Step 3: Then complete the OTP verification process.

Step 4: Then choose the type of organization and validate your PAN card number.

Step 5: After this, fill your personal, business and bank information.

Step 6: Make sure you filled all information correct and on the final submit button, you will get an OTP number, validate it and your registration is completed.

There is no fee for MSMEs and SMEs. You can register online easily via the official portal, Only Adhaar Number will be enough for registration.

  • After which a webpage will open in front of you in which you have to fill the 12 digit industry Aadhaar number.
  • After this, the captcha code will be seen in an image a little below, which has to be filled in the tab with the verification code.
  • Then, as soon as you click on the button named ‘Verify’, the results page will appear in front of you, which will verify the registration of your industry base.

How to Update Udyog Aadhaar?

The process to update Udyog Aadhaar has been kept very easy. For this, you have to fill your industry Aadhaar number by visiting https://udyamregistration.gov.in/UA/UA_EntrepreneurLogin.aspx link.

After which you will get three options to get OTP:

First via Aadhaar linked phone number

The second number you gave during registration or registration, or on your registered email ID.

From which you can choose any one.

Download MSME / Udyam Certificate

Just go to this link https://udyamregistration.gov.in/UA/PrintApplication_Pub.aspx to download your Udyam registration certificate online.

After which you will be asked for your Aadhaar card number and Udyog Aadhaar number. After which you will be able to take a print out.
