When & Why need Police Verification is required
Police Character Certificate mainly need, when we are employed in any government or private sector. So we have to give our Police Verification Certificate in the office related to our job. Then we are asked for a police verification certificate.
Which is related to our character and shows that there is no lawsuit against us in the police records and we are not involved in any criminal activities nor is there a case against us in the court.
This character certificate is produced by the Police Officers (SP Office) at the nearest police station. Haryana government provided online facility to apply for Police Verification Certificate.
How to fill Haryana Police Verification Form Online
To get an online police character certificate, you have to register at, the official website of Haryana Police.
This portal is called “हर समय”. By registering on this Haryana police portal, you can do any work related to the police department through an online medium.
Such as online police report, character certificate and you can also file the online FIR of Lost Property etc.
Step 1: Open Haryana Police official web site and logged in with your access as shown in below image.
Step 2: As you successfully logged in to the portal, a new window will open on the screen. Now click on the ‘Verification Services’ menu option as shown in this image.
Step 3: Now click on the ‘Character Certificate Request’ option and a new form page will open, this form page has four sections.
Step 4: Here enter your Aadhaar card number, your full name, parents’ name, or other names of the relative. They will serve as a witness.
And upload applicant scanned Aadhaar card copy in upload document section.
Step 5: Next, in the option Purpose for Applying, fill the reason for whom do you need a character certificate.
For example, if you want police verification certificate for a company, then also write the name of the company.
Step 6: Fill all information in the four section of form, like mobile number, email id, date of birth, address, etc.
Step 7: Choose your District option under Office Submission Details. You do not have to do anything under the Office Name, the name of the sp office of the district comes automatically.
Step 8: Inside the affidavit option, set no for any criminal records.
Step 9: Finally, tick the SUBMIT button by ticking all the information provided in the form is true.
Step 10: As soon as you submit, a new page will open in front of you, which shows your Character Certificate request number. And you have to pay fee for it.
Click on Proceed with payment link option, you can do payment via Debit/Credit card and Net Banking mode.
Step 11: Now, take out the print of the application form, and after 24-hour visit your nearest SP office along with your Aadhar card, two other ID card, and with your two relatives for witness as you mentioned in the above form.
Step 12: After verification from the Sp office, you have to wait a day or two. Then You have to login again by entering your user ID and password in the portal to check the status of the application form.
Under Verification services, click on Generate Report action button and download your police verification character certificate.
