In Haryana Pehchan Patra Scheme (Family Id), you can not delete the head of a family member, so if you have two family Ids then you can’t delete the second family id member.
Now Mera Parivar Meri Pehchan portal provides an option to merge two family IDs into one. You can also update the family member relation, including changing the head of the family member. Let’s check out the process.

Steps to Merge Two Haryana Family Id into One
Step 1: First open the https://meraparivar.haryana.gov.in web portal in your web browser.
Now, click on the ‘Login’ menu option, here you need to enter your CSC or VLE credential to login into this account.
Note: Those who have approved login access via School Camp, can also login in to it.
Step 2: After login, click on the ‘Merge Family’ menu option, now a new page will open.
Here enter your Parent Family Id number, in which you want to merge another family Id.
After filling the main family Id number in the input box, click on the search button. Below family member details will be displayed on the screen
Step 3: Now enter the 2nd family Id number in another input box ( this should be the family Id which you want to merge in parent family Id).
Step 4: Now, select Child Family member via a checkbox and click on the Red Button icon in the middle of the screen.
Step 5: After doing this, selected child family member has been added in parent family id, details will show on the screen below.
Here you can verify the details and also be able to change the relation of a newly added member.
Finally, click on Submit button, now your two family Ids merged into one family Id.
To take a printout of the updated Family Id, again visit the portal home page and search your family Id and take a printout of the merged family Id.
